Clear Junk - Junk Removal Service
Clear Junk is a professional junk removal service that helps you declutter your space quickly and efficiently. We handle everything from old furniture to construction debris.
The Brief
Clear Junk offers same-day, UK-wide rubbish removal for homes and businesses. The goal was a website that turns a visitor into a booking in as few steps as possible – instant quotes, an easy booking flow and secure online payment.
What I Built
- A guided quote form right on the landing page – choose 'Pile of Junk' or 'Single Items', enter the collection postcode and pick the timing (ASAP, next few days, 1 week+)
- A cart and checkout flow with Stripe for secure online payments
- Customer login, service pages, 'How it works' and FAQ sections that answer questions before they become support calls
- A responsive, conversion-focused UI with trust signals such as customer and review counts above the fold
Technical Approach
Built with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, using Redux to manage the multi-step quote and cart state, Stripe for payments and Strapi as a headless CMS for services and content. Node.js powers the backend logic that connects the booking flow with payments.
