Speed Networking
A modern expo events and speed networking platform designed to connect professionals, startups, and businesses seamlessly. Attendees can explore events, register online, and participate in structured networking sessions to build meaningful connections.
The Brief
A UK business networking organisation runs in-person meetups, virtual speed networking sessions and B2B expos. They needed one platform where professionals can discover events, join a membership and take part in structured networking.
What I Built
- Event listings for upcoming meetups, summits and expos across UK cities, each with its own call to action
- Membership programmes – Speed Networking, B2B Growth Expo and more – with dedicated detail pages
- Sign-up, login and a member dashboard/profile area
- Pages for locations, groups, members, blog and contact to support the community around the events
Technical Approach
Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS on top of Strapi as a headless CMS, so organisers can publish new events, programmes and blog posts themselves. Node.js handles the backend logic for authentication and member data, and the component-based UI keeps every event and programme page consistent.
